Little Bits of Spring...

A little patch of tulips, all growing bright and fair,
The scent of lovely blossoms perfuming all the air;
A mother robin happy, we hear her gaily sing,
And know that life is glowing with little bits of spring.
(Garnett Ann Schultz)

The tulips that survived the hungry rabbits are blooming (about 50%) and it is so wonderful to see little bits of color throughout the garden. But what really strikes me is how beautiful they are on closer inspection with creamy pastels... and bright fringed edges...
with kaleidoscope-like centers...
and peony like blooms...
I just wish they lasted longer!

Good Morning Marsha!
Your first flower shot just makes me feel so uplifted 'cheery'!
The fringed tulips I haven't seen for quite some time and are so pretty. Such detail. Just what we need with all of the weather changed is your little bit of spring!!

WOW! Each photo more lovely than the last! My favorite is the first. It looks like it has a black and white background.

Wow! That was a much needed burst of color. How can one feel down looking at these beauties. Thanks for sharing Marsha!
