holiday greetings, day 20...
Happy Holidays! Today, December 20th, is "National Go Caroling Day". HERE is an article from the online edition of an area newspaper on how to celebrate including recipes for hot mulled cider & fluffernutter hot cocoa. It is also the last full day of autumn though it doesn't really look like it outside my windows.
We are in the midst of another winter storm with local schools and events closed again today so I don't think too many will be out caroling. My poor Christmas moose is up to his antlers in a drift.
The feeders are busy with birds braving the weather including this junco...
and this nuthatch.
Inside, my first pink amaryllis is blooming just in time for the holidays.
Happy Holidays to all! I wish you strength, comfort and peace through all the storms of your life.

Another storm? You have enough for the whole country at this point! Poor Mr. Moose! But nice you have indoor blooms, so pretty!
What fabulous photos Marsha!
We are getting snow like crazy too!
I have been meaning to get over here and check out the pics!
Have a wonderful and joyous Christmas!
Cindy
Doesn't seem possible that today is the first official day of winter at all. Wishing you and yours a beautiful Christmas Marsha.
